A glimpse at Runtime (Dan Lavine, IBM; Zak Auerbach, Pivotal) - The Runtime team has helped Cloud Foundry become the success it is with rapid integration of new features paired with a continuous release cycle. Our expertise make us responsibility for reviewing contributions from the community at large and responding to any issues ranging from bug reports to codebase questions. This presentation will cover our development workflow and extensive continuous integration environments spanning AWS, vSphere and OpenStack. We will also give pointers and discuss our best practices for contributing to the development of Cloud Foundry. Finally, we will open up the process behind our interaction and exposure to the greater Cloud Foundry community.

Zachary Auerbach

Software Engineer, Pivotal
Talk to me about Cloud Foundry, BOSH, Space, and why Butterfingers are the greatest candybar that ever was or ever will be.

Daniel Lavine

Over the past year Dan has been working directly with the Pivotal teams as an IBM employee. He started with the CLI team during dojo and continued thereafter for a number of months rotating with both IBM and Pivotal developers. Most notably, he helped design and implement the plugin architecture which many community members are using today. Currently Dan is working as a core member of the Runtime team.
